From SSIS to the World: Class of 2025 University Acceptances

From SSIS to the World: Class of 2025 University Acceptances
Tanya Olander

There’s an important kind of growth that reveals itself not in transcripts, but in the choices students make and the way they carry themselves. It’s not just about what they want to do, but who they want to become.

As the Class of 2025 prepares to graduate, what stands out most isn’t just which universities they’ve been accepted into, although it’s an impressive list, but how they’ve grown into themselves over the past four years.

This class began high school in unusual circumstances, but the students quickly made that experience their own. They embraced opportunities—academic, creative, athletic, and interpersonal—with purpose and heart. They learned what it means to lead, follow, contribute, and take risks to pursue their learning.

University Acceptances at Top Schools Worldwide

The university acceptances of the Class of 2025 form a rich tapestry that clearly reflects an authentic diversity of experience and ambition. From Ivy League institutions and prestigious UK colleges to top-tier universities in North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia, these students are poised to take the next step of shaping their purposeful lives as global citizens.

Among the acceptances are University of Pennsylvania (USA), KAIST (South Korea), University College London and University of Edinburgh (UK), McGill University and University of British Columbia (Canada), Waseda and Sophia University (Japan), University of Amsterdam (Netherlands), The New School: Parsons School of Design and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (USA), as well as acceptances to West Point and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USA).

But behind every acceptance letter is a journey shaped by reflection, resilience, and the support of a school community that believes in the full potential of every student.

Some of the many universities that Class of 2025 has been accepted to so far.

“University acceptances are an important milestone,” says Dr. Catriona Moran, Head of School. “But what truly defines our graduates is the growth they’ve experienced—intellectually, and personally. Our program is designed to help students discover who they are so they can contribute meaningfully to the world.”

Four Graduates, Many Journeys

In the video below, four members of the Class of 2025—Adam, Iva, Bomin, and Ryan—reflect on the experiences, opportunities, and relationships that have shaped their time at SSIS. They offer an inside look at what it means to grow and learn in a community that values both academic excellence and personal discovery.

Adam found both his voice and his stage—on campus and beyond. Iva speaks with quiet strength about discovering parts of herself she never thought she would have the opportunity to share at school. Bomin reflects on leadership, not as a role, but as a responsibility to shape change. And Ryan, having attended SSIS since the age of 4, reflects on what it means to be truly known and supported through every stage of learning. These four students share their stories with honesty, insight, and heart—watch the video to see how their time at SSIS shaped who they are today.

Together, their reflections offer a powerful window into the heart of this class. And while their stories are just four among many, they speak to what’s possible when students are offered opportunities and support to grow into their future with integrity, intention, and purpose.

We couldn’t be prouder of the Class of 2025. They’ve shown what it means to learn with intention, grow with courage, and choose their own paths forward. Join us in celebrating this exceptional class!
