Absence

To report your child absent or for questions, please contact your divisional office ( esoffice@ssis.edu.vn | msattendance@ssis.edu.vn | hsattendance@ssis.edu.vn ). When planning vacations or other absences, please make sure to check the school year calendar to avoid missing school days.

What to Do If Your Child Is Sick

If your child is home due to illness, please email their divisional office and the health office. Please remember to include your child's full name and student ID number. 

You do not need to call the school.

Will Your Child Miss ASAs or Athletics?

If your child will miss an ASA or Athletics practice, game or tournament, please let their coach or ASA teacher know as early as possible. Middle and High School athletes should email their coach directly or message them through SchoolsBuddy. Parents may support this, particularly for younger students or in an emergency.

Please note that marking an absence in another system does not automatically reach the coach, so always use the team's agreed channel. Remember to include your child's full name and student ID number.

Planning a Personal Family Absence?

If you know your child will be absent from school due to personal family reasons, please notify your child's principal in advance. Contact details can be found in the divisional handbooks or on our website's Faculty Directory.
