Elementary and Middle School students join seasonal After School Activities (ASAs). High School students have the option to join year-round, student-run clubs. Elementary school students sign up with their parents. Middle and High School students sign up on their own.

All sign-ups are made through SchoolsBuddy.

Elementary

How Elementary ASAs work

Elementary after-school activities (ASAs) run from 3:00 to 3:55 pm every day after school.

For students in KG-Grade 5, SSIS offers a wide range of ASAs. Note that while most activities are free and teacher-led, we also offer paid sessions run by outside vendors (details found in the season list).

Season 1: August 24 - November 6, 2026

Online sign-ups: August 10 to 14

Middle School

How Middle School ASAs work

Middle School ASAs run from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm afterschool. Athletics are offered separately. Like High Schoolers, Middle School has programs which are year long and typically have excursions. The programs offered Model United Nations, Debate, and Robotics.

Season 1:

Online Sign Up: August 10 to 14
Bus Sign Up: August 17 to 21
Season 1 Dates: August 24 to November 6, 2026

Season 2:

Online Sign Up: November 09 to 13
Bus Sign Up: November 16 to 20
Season 2 Dates: November 23 to February 19, 2027

Season 3:

Online Sign Up: February 22 to 26
Bus Sign Up: March 1 to 5
Season 3 Dates: March 8 to May 28, 2027

High School

High School Clubs & Programs

High School clubs run all year long. There are 3 types of clubs/programs, Service Clubs, Interest Clubs, and Programs.
Programs include MUN, Robotics, Drama, Dance, Music, Speech & Debate, Math, Science, and Leadership (StuCo and House League).

How to join

Students are introduced to the clubs at the club expo. There students be given time to explore and talk to members of the club and see if they'd like to join in. That week students will sign up for clubs on Schoolsbuddy.

How to sign up for ASAs?

Registration Process

There are two phases to the sign-up process. In the first phase, you choose activities based on your child's interest. You will receive an email with the chosen ASAs. In phase 2, you can sign up for additional activities if your child didn't receive everything you requested in phase 1.

PHASE 1

Log in to SchoolsBuddy.

Returning Parents: Log in to your existing SchoolsBuddy account (reset password if needed).

New Parents: Use the registration link emailed to you by SchoolsBuddy (check your spam if not received). Add noreply@schoolsbuddy.com to your contacts.
Go to Activities, Clubs and Bookings.
Click into the season of activities
You'll see a list of the days of the week with the activities per day. Please select your child's desired activities. If choosing multiple activities on the same day, rank them by interest: 1 (Most Interested), 2 (Second Choice), or 3 (Third Choice). If they only want one activity, simply mark it as 1.
Submit your choices

PHASE 2

Check your email for the list of activities that the child's been allocated (check your spam if not received).
If needed, request additional activities by going back to your Schoolsbuddy account and clicking “Ask to Join.”

Final placements are randomized to ensure fair access; most students get some, but not all, of their choices.

Later that evening, you’ll receive a list of the ASAs you choose.

Payment (for Paid ASAs Only)

Please do not pay until you have received your child's final ASA assignments. All fees include VAT and are non-refundable.

SSIS offers three payment options:

Bank transfer: Bank information will be sent out to you by email. If you missed it please request from the Business Office in Room C020
Credit Card: Pay in person at the Business Office, Room C020
Cash: Pay in person at the Business Office, Room C020

Note: For paid ASAs, you will be required to pay extra if you request changes in the first week. After the first week, ASAs cannot be changed.
