How to Use Schoology

At SSIS, the HS and MS divisions use a learning management system called Schoology.
Teachers use Schoology to
- post class materials and assignments
- collect work electronically
- give feedback to students
Students use Schoology to
- collaborate on projects with other students
- receive announcements and feedback
- turn in their homework
- stay organized and connected to the class
Parents use Schoology to
- see the classes your child is enrolled in
- view your child’s upcoming assignments and assessments
- read school and class announcements
If you have not yet registered your account, you can sign up using the Parent Access Code
The first time you use Schoology, you will need to connect your account with your child. Select Add Child and enter your child’s unique Parent Access Code that you received in an email from the school. Do the same for your other child/children.
You can browse your child’s activity by clicking the arrow to the right of your name and selecting your child’s name from the top right drop-down menu:
