[AS] SSIS Catering Update: Meal Card Balances & Next Steps

Dear SSIS Parents,

We hope this message finds you well. As you may be aware, The Caterers will no longer provide canteen services at SSIS after this school year (2024-2025). It has been our pleasure to serve your children, and we sincerely appreciate your support and trust over the years.

To ensure a smooth transition and avoid any disruption to your child’s meal purchases, we kindly ask you to note the following important dates regarding meal card balances.

Action Required: Meal Card Balance Settlement

• Tuesday, April 29, 2025 – You will receive a notification of your child’s meal card balance. This will allow you to top up or settle any outstanding balance to ensure continued access to meals for the rest of the school year.
• Monday, May 12, 2025 – From this date forward, if your child’s meal card has a balance of less than 200,000 VND, they will not be able to use it.
• This early transition process is necessary to allow time for meal card adjustments, prevent disruptions, and ensure that all card balances are settled before we end our service in June.

How to Pay Your Child’s Meal Card Balance

Please pay any remaining balance on your account by Friday, May 30, 2025, and ensure that the balance will cover the final days of the school year.

Payment methods:

1. In person at the school coffee shop (Monday - Friday).
2. Via bank transfer:

Reference: Please include your child’s full name and SSIS ID number

How to Receive Your Refund

On May 30, we will send your child’s meal card balance by email. If there is a balance remaining on their card, you can receive a refund either:

1. In cash at the school coffee shop from Monday, June 2 – Wednesday, June 4, 2025
2. By bank transfer from Thursday, June 5 – Monday, June 16, 2025

We will email your final balance on June 5. Please make sure to reply with your account details as follows:

• Account Name [First Name, Last Name]
• Account number
• Bank Name and Branch

We will issue a refund within 7 days from the date of receiving your bank information.
