Dear Grade 10 Students and Parents,
Thank you to those who attended our WWW Information Night yesterday. We were pleased to share more about this year’s learning journey and the ways in which Week Without Walls supports student growth in responsibility, independence, community partnership, and the SSIS Core Values.

- Complete the attached WWW Letter of Consent & Permission Form
- Submit a copy of your child’s passport and visa page (for hotel registration)
Please turn in these items to the High School Office by Tuesday, December 9.
In this letter, you will find:

- Packing list
- Emergency contacts
- Medical and medication procedures
- Expectations for student conduct
Trip Overview - Tri An Lake / Hippo Farm
Week Without Walls provides Grade 10 students with an opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom and explore how their daily habits shape the well-being of communities and the environment. Through hands-on experiences at Tri An Lake and Hippo Farm, students will engage with the Grade 10 essential question:
“How might we design daily habits that sustain land and people?”
Throughout the week, students will explore themes of sustainability, food systems, wellness, and cultural understanding. These experiences support the development of key SSIS Core Values in authentic, real-world contexts. Students will work together in a range of structured activities that encourage collaboration, mindful decision-making, and personal responsibility. Because WWW is part of the SSIS learning program, all expectations that apply at school also apply off campus.
Please read each section of this letter carefully to understand the learning focus, expectations, and logistical details of the trip, and then complete and return the required forms.
