[G9-12] Reminder: PTCs This Thursday and Friday

Dear Parents and Guardians of High School Students,

This is a friendly reminder that Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences will be held later this week on:

  • Thursday, October 10  11:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Friday, October 11        9:00 am – 4:00 pm

You do not need to sign up in advance to meet with your child’s teachers. Instead, the conferences will happen in an arena-style format, where parents will meet with teachers on a first-come, first-served basis.

We suggest that families follow the alphabetical assignments below to ensure that wait times are not too long.

  • Thursday, October 10 - Families whose family/last name begins with A through M
  • Friday, October 11 - Families whose family/last name begins with N through Z

These conferences are an important opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers and gain insight into the ways your child can maximize their learning during the remainder of the school year.

Your child’s report card will be available on PowerSchool at 4:00 pm on October 9. To ensure the protection of your child’s personal data, SSIS has updated our privacy policy. As part of these changes, we will no longer be emailing report cards directly to parents to safeguard against the possibility of incorrect information being sent.

Instead, we kindly ask that you log into PowerSchool to access and download your child’s report card starting at 4:00 pm on October 9. This ensures that you are receiving the correct and most up-to-date information directly from our secure system. Please see the instructions on where to download your child’s report card from PowerSchool.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday or Friday, as your schedule permits.

All my very best,

Ms. Jennifer Mendes
High School Principal
