Dear Parents of High School Students,

Thank you for attending HS Curriculum Night. It was a wonderful event of establishing connections and learning about the courses your children are taking.

Please find here the slides from the Welcome Address. It was here that I shared information about the enhancements to our grading and reporting system. Please remember that everything we do here is in an effort to help your child meet with the greatest success possible.

We would like to continue our dialogue with you about the enhancements to our grading and reporting system by hosting a High School Parent Coffee: Enhanced Grading and Reporting on Tuesday, August 27, at 8:15 am in MPR4. We hope you are able to join us.

Also, this year we implemented a new structure for Curriculum Night that enabled parents to meet their child’s teachers and learn about their classes in a relaxed and comfortable way. We would appreciate hearing about your experience at Curriculum Night so we can make adjustments to make it even better next year. Please complete this Curriculum Night 2024 Parent Feedback Survey by Wednesday, August 28.

We are already off to a great start this school year and grateful for our partnership with you!

All my best,

Jennifer Mendes
HS Principal
