Elisia Brodeur
Dear High School Parents and Guardians,
We are pleased to invite you to our Week Without Walls Parent Information Night on Monday, December 1, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the HS Gym.
We will introduce the purpose, structure, and logistics of this year’s Week Without Walls experiences for Grades 9 - 12, and explain how these trips and activities are designed to support the SSIS Mission and Core Values.
Event Overview
6:00 - 6:35 pm – Overview presentation led by Dr. Jessica Maley (WWW Coordinator) and the AsiaMotions team
6:40 - 8:00 pm – Grade-specific sessions for Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, led by each grade-level Personal Development Leader (PDL) and AsiaMotions representatives
The Purpose of Week Without Walls
Week Without Walls is a key part of our commitment to the intellectual and personal development of each student, preparing them for a purposeful life as global citizens. Each trip is designed to help students grow in ways that extend beyond the classroom, engaging both their hearts and their minds, while reinforcing our SSIS core values.
These trips are carefully planned to nurture students’ curiosity, leadership, connection, and responsibility—qualities central to a purposeful life as a global citizen.
Please note that Week Without Walls is a required component of the SSIS curriculum, and all students in Grades 9–12 are expected to participate fully in their WWW learning experience. If a student has a documented medical condition that may affect their participation, families should contact the school as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements.
What We Will Share at the Info Night
