[G9-11] 2025-2026 End-of-Semester 2 Assessments and Timeline
Elisia Brodeur
Dear High School Parents and Students,
As we approach the end of Semester 2, we would like to share key information to help students prepare for a smooth and successful end to the school year. The last two weeks of school are designed for students to review, complete final coursework, and reflect on learning.
May 28 - June 2: PREPARATION & PROJECT COMPLETION
From Thursday, May 28, through Tuesday, June 2, students will attend classes as usual. To maximize study time, we will not schedule any new assessments, tests, or quizzes (except those already communicated). This is intended to help spread out projects and assessment preparation.
Please also note the following:
- Long-term projects may still be due, and all project-based assessments must be submitted by Tuesday, June 2.
- Teachers will not assign new homework. Instead, students should use this time to study and prepare for assessments.
- Teachers will communicate specific details about final course expectations and assessment formats.
June 3 - June 8: ASSESSMENT WEEK
End-of-semester assessments will take place from Wednesday, June 3, to Monday, June 8, according to the following schedule:

June 9: Consolidation Day
Only students with outstanding or incomplete work should be on campus on June 9. This day provides an opportunity to finalize submissions and receive additional support if needed. Students without a predetermined reason should not be on campus.
The Value of End-of-Semester Assessments
End-of-semester assessments give students an opportunity to:
- Review and consolidate key concepts
- Reflect on their strengths and areas for growth
- Practice test-taking strategies
- Gain closure and a clearer understanding of their progress this school year
June 10 - June 11: FINAL DAYS OF THE SCHOOL YEAR
Students are expected to attend school on June 10 and 11 to:
- Reflect on the semester and their learning
- Review and better understand their assessment results
- Celebrate, connect with classmates, and show appreciation for our community
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns about the end-of-semester schedule.
In partnership,
Chad McGartlin
Associate High School Principal
