Dear Parents or Guardians of Grade 10 Students,

As High School Principal, it is my pleasure to share with you an upcoming opportunity to learn more about the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) as a unique, two-year academic pathway available to students entering Grade 11. On Tuesday, November 5 at 6:00 pm in the Auditorium, you and your child are invited to this important information session to better understand the IB Diploma at SSIS.

Our session will provide Grade 10 students and parents with an in-depth overview of the IBDP, which emphasizes research, critical thinking, and self-management with a variety of assessment types to support student learning. We will discuss the IB Core, and a range of other topics to help parents and students understand this holistic academic program.

You will also have an opportunity to hear from IB teachers and IB students who will share their experiences in the IBDP.

To ensure your child understands the options available and can make the most informed decisions, please plan to attend this important session on Tuesday, November 5.

All my very best,
Ms. Jennifer Mendes
