KG–5 Season 2 ASA Registration Opens Nov 10

Dear EC–G5 Parents,

SSIS offers a wide range of After-School Activities (ASAs) for EC–Grade 5 students, including free teacher-led clubs and paid activities run by outside vendors. 

For Grades 3–5, the Athletics program and the ASA program are combined into one registration system in SchoolsBuddy. 

Season 2 ASAs runs November 24 -- February 11, 2026.

ASA Registration 

• Registration Opens: Monday, November 10 at 9:00 am
• How to Register: SchoolsBuddy

1. Before You Register

• Returning Parents: Log in to your existing SchoolsBuddy account (reset the password if needed).
• New Parents: Use the registration link emailed to you by SchoolsBuddy (check your spam folder if you haven't received it) and add noreply@schoolsbuddy.com to your contacts.

2. How to Register

1. Go to Activities, Clubs and Bookings.
2. Select the ASAs (and, for Grades 3–5, the Athletics) your child is interested in.

3. Registration Process

PHASE 1: November 10–12, 12:00 pm

• Make your selections in SchoolsBuddy.
• Later that evening, you’ll receive a list of what ASAs you chose (NOTE: Your ASA choices are not final yet). 
• Final placements are randomized to ensure fair access. Most students get some, but not all, of their choices.

PHASE 2: November 12, evening – November 14, 12:00 pm

• The evening of November 12, you will receive your child’s approved ASA assignments (check your spam if not received).
• You can make additional ASA requests until 12:00 pm on Friday, November 14, by clicking “Ask to Join” in SchoolsBuddy.

4. Payment (for Paid ASAs Only)

Please make any required payments after you have received your child's final ASA allocation. All fees include VAT and are non-refundable.

SSIS offers three payment options:

1. Bank transfer:

• Bank name: STANDARD CHARTERED BANK (VIETNAM) LIMITED

• Description: Student’s SSIS ID number

2. Credit card: Pay in person at the Business Office, Building C, Room C020
3. Cash: Pay in person at the Business Office, Building C, Room C020

Note: For paid ASAs, an additional fee will be charged if you request changes within the first week. After the first week, ASAs cannot be changed. 

5. Transportation

If you would like your child to ride the bus home after ASAs, please sign up here: Season 2: ASA Bus Sign-up form. Please do not sign up for the ASA bus service until after your child has received their final ASA selections, but before November 18.

Our ASA and Athletics programs offer wonderful opportunities for children to spend time together, make friends, and develop new skills. Thank you for allowing your child the opportunity to participate! 

Aside from our ASA program, we want to remind parents that we also offer a wide variety of weekend and evening training opportunities here at SSIS, offered by external vendors and unrelated to our in-school ASA or Athletics programs. Please contact these vendors directly if you would like to know more about these opportunities. 

• Next Level Basketball: Basketball training for all grade levels. Email nextlevelbasketballvietnam@gmail.com for more information.
• Pacific Volleyball: Volleyball training for MS and HS students. Email pacificvolley@gmail.com for more information
• **NEW Locked in Training: Soccer Saturdays. Grades K-5 soccer program that focuses on skill development, teamwork, and enjoyment rather than early competition. Each session gives students the chance to learn, play, and grow in an environment that celebrates effort, attitude, and improvement — the true markers of success.
