[KG–5] After-School Activities Registration Opens: August 12

Dear KG–G5 Parents,

SSIS offers a wide range of After-School Activities (ASAs) for KG–Grade 5 students, including free teacher-led clubs and paid activities run by outside vendors.

You can see all available options in the Season 1 ES ASAs (KG - G5).

ASA Registration Opens!

• When: Tuesday, August 12, 9:00 am
• Where: SchoolsBuddy
• Season 1 Dates: August 25 – November 7
• NOTE: Early Childhood (EC) sign-ups start in Season 2 (November 10)

1. What’s New This Year?

For Grades 3–5, the Athletics program and ASA program are now combined into one registration system in SchoolsBuddy. 

2. Before You Register

• Returning Parents: Log in to your existing SchoolsBuddy account (reset password if needed).
• New Parents: Use the registration link emailed to you by SchoolsBuddy (check your spam if not received). Add noreply@schoolsbuddy.com to your contacts.

3. How to Register

1. Log in to SchoolsBuddy.
2. Go to Activities, Clubs and Bookings.
3. Select the ASAs (and Athletics, for Grades 3–5) your child is interested in.

4. Registration Process

PHASE 1 (August 12–14, 12:00 pm)

• Make your selections in SchoolsBuddy.
• Later that evening, you’ll receive a list of what ASAs you chose (NOTE: Your choices are not final yet). 
• Final placements are randomized to ensure fair access; most students get some, but not all, of their choices.

PHASE 2 (August 14, evening – August 15, 4:00 pm)

• Receive final assignments (check your spam if not received).
• If needed, request additional activities by clicking “Ask to Join.”

Please do not pay until you have received your child's final ASA assignments. All fees include VAT and are non-refundable.

SSIS offers three payment options:

1. Bank transfer:

• Bank name: STANDARD CHARTERED BANK (VIETNAM) LIMITED
• Account Name: Saigon South International School
• Account Number (VND): 90307287801
• Description: Student’s SSIS ID number

2. Credit Card: Pay in person at the Business Office, Room C020
3. Cash: Pay in person at the Business Office, Room C020

Note: For paid ASAs, you will be required to pay extra if you request changes in the first week. After the first week, ASAs cannot be changed. 

6. Transportation

If your child will take the bus home after an ASA, [sign up for ASA bus here] after you receive your child’s final ASA assignments, but before August 19.

Our ASA and Athletics programs are wonderful opportunities for children to enjoy time together, make friends, and build new skills. Thank you for allowing your child the opportunity to participate!
