Afternoon Buses
- To minimize traffic congestion, buses pick up students from campus starting at 3:15 pm.
- Students taking a bus need to wait in the Plaza.
- ES teaching assistants will walk EC, KG, G1, and G2 bus students to the Plaza and wait until each student is called to their bus.
Pedestrians
- Pedestrians can access campus at entrances A, B, C, D, or E (see map).
- Everyone crossing Nguyen Duc Canh should use the main crosswalk at the traffic light near Circle K.
Campus Traffic Rules
- The speed limit on campus is 10 km per hour.
- All drivers—parents and family employees—must obey all posted signs.
- Drivers must be attentive and follow directions from uniformed guards and SSIS staff.
- Vehicles should not be left unattended at the curbside.
- Passengers may exit vehicles only on the curbside of the walkway.
- Please do not unload items at the curbside drop-off zone. This area is for dropping off passengers only.
- Pedestrians have the right of way. Please stop at all crosswalks to allow pedestrians to cross.
- Drivers who wait for parents during drop-off should park in the parking lot. If there is no space in the lot, please wait off campus.
- Use horns only when needed to warn in an emergency.
Warnings will be issued to drivers who do not follow the SSIS Campus Traffic Rules. To keep our community safe, drivers who do not follow the traffic rules may be barred from campus.
Please Note
- Please be patient and allow extra time at drop off and pick up.
- For your child’s safety, we strongly recommend that no elementary school children are dropped off outside of the school gates.
- If you would like your child to use the school bus, please contact our busing coordinator, Ms. Vy: busing@ssis.edu.vn.
- Phu My Hung police help with the crosswalk outside of campus at pick-up and drop-off times. SSIS staff also help to direct traffic to ensure the safety of all our students.
We appreciate your continued support and efforts to keep our entire community safe. Thank you for your understanding.
