[G12] Graduation Week Reminders for the Class of 2026
Elisia Brodeur
Dear Seniors and Parents,
As we enter Senior Week—a time dedicated to celebrating our Seniors’ final days at SSIS—I would like to share some essential details regarding the Senior Walk on Thursday, May 21, and the Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, May 23, at 4:00 pm at Landmark 81.
Senior Walk (Thursday, May 21)
This year, we are thrilled to invite parents to join us for the Senior Walk. This is a powerful tradition where our seniors celebrate their upcoming graduation alongside students, faculty, and staff from across the entire school community.
- When: The walk begins at 1:15 pm, and we expect the seniors to cross the Plaza between 1:20 and 1:30 pm.
- Where: We encourage parents to gather in the Plaza to cheer on our students as they make their way from the SDC, across the Plaza, and toward the administration offices.
Graduation Ceremony Details (Saturday, May 23)
- Time: 4:00 - 5:30 pm (doors open at 3:15 pm)
- Venue: Ballroom, Basement Level, Landmark 81 (Autograph Collection entrance)
Please click here for directions and parking instructions. Student Ambassadors will be on-site to guide you. - Seats and Tickets: All guests must present their tickets. Please note that all seats are accounted for, so please do not take a seat that already has flowers or personal items on it. We will provide a table to keep your flowers during the ceremony.
Graduation Dress Code
This is a formal occasion. Students should adhere to the following guidelines:
- Option 1: White collared shirt with a tie, dark trousers, and dark dress shoes.
- Option 2: Formal dress, or a skirt/trousers with a dressy top.
- Footwear: We recommend that students bring comfortable shoes to wear between rehearsals and the ceremony.
