Our School

More than two decades ago, visionary founders Ferdinand P. Tsien and Lawrence S. Ting laid the first brick of what would become Saigon South International School.

Established as a not-for-profit entity of the Phu My Hung Corporation, SSIS has since provided a caring, student-centered learning environment based on an American curriculum for 29 years.

SSIS is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and a member of both the South East Asia Student Activities Committee (SEASAC) and Mekong River International Schools Association (MRISA). SSIS is the only international school Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam offering both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and Advanced Placement courses to high school students.
