Lawrence S. Ting Scholarship
Saigon South International School was founded with a clear vision from Mr. Lawrence S. Ting and Mr. Ferdinand Tsien: to build a world-class international school rooted in strong values and an American academic program.
To honor Mr. Ting’s legacy of developing global-minded leaders, SSIS established a scholarship in his name in 2005 for an exceptional Vietnamese student who demonstrates academic excellence, strong English proficiency, our Core Values, and a commitment to serving Vietnam.
Who Can Apply?
Each year, SSIS awards a three-year, renewable scholarship in Mr. Ting’s name to an exceptional student entering Grade 10. Eligible applicants must have completed all prior schooling in local Vietnamese schools; students who have attended international schools are not eligible.
