Rock-Out a Big Success

The first Rock Out! concert ever, organized by members of the HS Global Issues Group, was a huge success. The bands were fantastic - big applause to our own school band Undecided, who were awesome. To all of you who attended the event, thank you for your generous support and superb behavior. We raised 3,372 USD! This means that 21 poor students around HCMC will be able to attend school for a whole year. Also a big thank you to the adults helping us organize the event: Ms. Featherstone, Ms. Zimmerman, Ms Haugbro, Mr. Ada, Mr. Johnston, and Mr. Johnson. I hope that this is the first of many Rock Out! concerts to come. True sustainable development would be if we could continue sending these 21 students (or more) to school every year. So join the Global Issues Group next year to help us organize this event again.
