Professional Development with Ardith Cole

On Nov. 19-20, 2009 SSIS hosted a workshop on "Literate Response across the Curriculum" with Ardith Cole. Members from International School of Ho Chi Minh City, American International School, Lawrence Tsing Vietnamese School, and International School of Saigon attended this workshop along with our SSIS teachers. During these two days, Ardith provided several practical structures to use in helping students to respond to text and prompts for authentic purposes. This is one of many workshops and discussions focusing on literacy practices and methodologies at SSIS.
