Grade 2 Students Visit Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Station
December 16, 2009
Students from 2nd grade visited the Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Station in order to see animals native to the habitats of Vietnam. Of the endangered species that were introduced to them on that day such as gibbon and Loris, some were returned to their native habitats after being assisted by the good staff at the station. Student donations enabled the purchase of radio collars for the Loris re-release program in Cat Tien National Park. Other native animals for this science study included the Sun Bear, the Temple turtle, the Great Hornbill.
