Anh Linh Love School, located just outside the Phu My Hung border and just 2 km from SSIS has approximately 230 students. As a "free" school, students at Anh Linh come from families who have been unable to pay the minimal tuition costs of the local Vietnamese schools. During the school year, students are provided school meals including fruit and rice. During the summer months when the students are not at school and therefore not receiving the school meals, many eat very little as many of the families are very poor and unable to provide sufficiently for the family. The Anh Linh teachers have explained that as a result, many children return to school in September thinner than when they left for summer holiday.

It was our goal to collect basic food supplies and provide summer packages to each of the Anh Linh students. In this way, we hope to support the students so that they can return to their classes nourished and better able to concentrate on their studies. The support from SSIS parents was overwhelming, with many families donating whole boxes of food. This show of "Dedcated Service" will surely make a difference to these children.
