High School
The SSIS High School curriculum and learning experience is designed to prepare students for successful post-secondary learning and living. Learning experiences are designed to bring relevance to what students see, experience and question within their world. In addition to rigorous college preparatory courses, students participate in an extensive community service and activity program which aims to cultivate a sense of responsibility and commitment to their community and their world.
The SSIS High School Diploma
The SSIS diploma is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. As such, graduates have full access to all universities that accept an American high school diploma. In addition, students may choose to enroll in either individual Advanced Placement (AP) courses or to complete the full AP International Diploma Program. SSIS is currently an International Baccalaureate Candidate School with our first group of IB Diploma students scheduled to graduate in 2012.
IB Diploma Programme
SSIS is currently an IB Candidate School with our first offering of IBDP courses beginning August, 2010. Click the link on the right to find out more about the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. Or click this link to read some Frequently Asked Questions about the IB at SSIS.
