Elementary School

Elementary school youngsters discover the joy of learning in a warm, nurturing and inviting environment. While fostering a life-long love of learning, we work to develop responsible citizens within our community. Reading for meaning, writing for a variety of purposes, mathematics, science and social studies are built through a varied curriculum inclusive of art, music, physical education, swimming, host country studies, library and computer integration.

Students are supported by full-time teaching assistants in each classroom. ESL teachers team with classroom teachers to improve English language skills of students who require specialized support. Students, parents and teachers are partners in developing successful students. We value parent involvement in guiding and supporting their children’s learning. The values implicit in our expected school-wide learning results are an integral part of everything we do. Walk through our halls and classrooms and you will see and hear evidence of the joy of learning from all students and staff.
